Can someone explain why s3d will stop slicing in skirts?

Its happen many times now where it will have skirts but i have to go back to change some minor thing then reslice and the skirts will no longer be there and nothing short of re importing the file will make it show up again.

I'm not sure I have every seen this... Can you post a factory file?
