Selecting Models for process

I cannot figure a use case where you would want to select models for a process different from the objects shown via the checkmarks for the main view. I'd say make those checkboxes the means for selecting models to be processed rather then adding the step of the button within each process. The way it is right now it is easy to miss this setting (since you cannot see it) and not know it is wrong until after it finishes the preview... Which could be awhile.

Re: Selecting Models for process

When I print different parts with different settings, I frequently have 5 or so parts on the build platform but I only have 1 selected in a specific process since I am customizing the settings for that one. Same with dual extrusion. So I think it's pretty common when you are using multiple processes.

Wait...!
You can have 2 processes on the same layers at the same time? I have not been able to get Simplify 3D to do that! It tells me the processes overlap.

I just tried it. Wow!!! Thats so COOL!!!

Position 2 objects on the plate separate from each other.
2 processes each with completely different settings ( I would assume temps settings would not work due to cool down and heat up time) without Layer Start or Stop set...
Select 1 object in the 1st process "Select Objects" button and select the other for the 2nd process. so each of the 2 processes only refer to 1 object.
Tell the slicer to print and select the 2 processes, you can do them sequential (ok, the temp changes would work in that case) or you can do then continuous, layer by layer (temp changes probably would not work).
Yet another way multi-processes differentiate S3D!!

However, the model selection button is still an awkward UI and it should be easier to do it in a way which flows along a task flow.
