S3D drops custom profiles

Hi there...

I have noticed that Simplify3D is constantly now dropping the custom profiles I built. I am having to import them constantly now.

Any reasons..???

I have a Mac platform running 10.9.2.

Thanks..!!!!

Re: S3D drops custom profiles

I have exactly the same problem, or at least I think I do.

Do you mean process? as I create different process for disfferent layer height and fill, and everytime I close program and reopen they disapear.

Should I create diffent profiles for this, if so I still need to create a process everytime I open the program?

Re: S3D drops custom profiles

are you hitting the save button at the bottom? i am running the newest version of osx as well. if i hit save then shut down creator and restart it then hit the add button to make a process come up it will bring the same process and setting up i left off with. i dont ever have to import anything unless i want to completely change to a different custom profile.

Hi There...

Yep, I do that. And then come back to the application and all the profiles (5) are gone.

Odd....

Re: S3D drops custom profiles

so when your process window is empty after restart and you hit the add button and the process pops up what exactly is the process it gives you? its not the one you left off with? is it just one of the defaults?

JimC...

That's correct.

I prepare a print, shutdown S3D, and when I next use it, hitting "Add" just asks to select a profile. All my five custom ones are gone.
