Re: Problem with border of surfaces

Okay...I have some changes for you to try. I'd try them first on a small test piece rather than going for printing with all that PLA.

Extruder tab:
Extrusion multiplier - I think is okay at 0.97

Layer tab:
Reduce Perimeter Outlines to 2. This will give the solid infill the opportunity to fill in some of the smaller sized tops better.

Additions tab:
You could try modding the skirt into a brim by increasing the outlines to 4 and offset to zero. This may then help to stop any edge lifting

Cooling tab:
Change cooling to 100% from layer 1. PLA needs to be cooled asap after extrusion so it hardens and doesn't get pulled by the extruder.

Other tab:
Lower the Solid Infill Underspeed down to no more than 50%. This will stop the raised bits in the infill.

Advanced tab:
Up the overlap percentage for thin wall behaviour to at least 25%

I would look for a good improvement in two ways....no raised bits in the infill when changing direction, and no gaps in the infill on the top surface.

As I've suggested....try this on a smaller test piece first.

Re: Problem with border of surfaces

Thanks for the ideas!

I forgot to say that Perimeters is usually 2 - I just fixing it if there is geometery errors like in this model because I seen that it help of quality in these models.

Cooling change in impossible in my printer because it is so powerful that 35 fan speed is absolutely maximum (maybe 40, but then temp is not stable anymore) or temp run out of range.

I don't have any edge liftin - it is miracle how well all model will stack to surface with this new printer ( I have experience with 8 printers in last 10 years and this is first that stack perfectly always)

I will try lower infill setting (might help) and I will try 25% overlap even I thought that this create more problem (it was by default 14% and I dropped to 10% for that problem and it looks that it helped a little bit)
