layer missing at .25 build height

I have a question about Image
Image
First image with the sparse layers is s3d profile at a .25 layer I didn't change anything but remove the infill and set a single perimeter.
The Second image is .24 height, the exact same profile
I don't understand why it is putting the solid infill every 8mm
it only does this on the .25 layer setting, and I can't get my other profiles to replicate it
The infill does show in prints and the part doesn't have a shell when the infill is printed, just like the photo

Re: layer missing at .25 build height

S3D has some sort of weird floating point issue with certain models when slicing causing certain layers to fill in hole features. And changing the layer height slightly, thicker or thinner, fixes the problem.

I assume, if the S3D ever has another release of the software in our lifetime, that they will fix this issue.

Try running the stl through https://netfabb.azurewebsites.net/ its probably got an error in the mesh.

These are only cylinders, one bottom layer, no infill, one side wall. I have seen this on other parts with normal slicing parameters, however this was the easiest to demonstrate. I didn't find it until I started using a profile created by the printer manufacturer, Makers Tool Works. Had a few failures, didn't know what caused them, but this seems to be it.
