Support Generation Issues

Hello,

I've got a question about a particular action of Simplify3D. When I turn on supports, I often have to manually add some to a line where it has already added supports, but incorrectly. I've attached some screenshots of what I mean.

Example:
A 45 degree angle may have supports generated for half the length of the angled shape. Why not the whole thing?

Supports also extend pretty far past the edge of where they can be supported themselves. You can see all of this in the screenshots.

Support settings: https://gyazo.com/6f9e37686cd24a92e8fa60e5b2ce3138
Resulting supports generated: https://gyazo.com/f69be44b883f5fb5ba077b64965b2062 (Notice the area's randomly unsupported or half supported despite being the same angle as the supported areas)
Protruding from area being supported: https://gyazo.com/71d9ba6919b55765c458b8431fe08c62

Changing the angle doesn't seem to have any effect at all except if I lower it to maybe 10 degrees. It then doesn't really generate anything.

Re: Support Generation Issues

Use a smaller support pillar resolution (1mm would help a lot)
