Running simplify 3d on nixos linux distribution

Hi,

has anyone tried, or is using simplify3d on nixos linux distribuiton?

I have managed to get close to all dependencies i could find, but i am unable to run it. It installs well but it fails to run, check my chroot env setup here:

to enter this env, and run s3d i just do:

nix-shell
./Simplify3D-3.0.2-linux-installer.run
and then run it,

Did it run correctly at the end of the installer? There's usually a checkbox that asks if you want to run it, and that has always worked for me on several linux distros

It didn't run at the end, when i say run it after install is complete, it hangs, i also posted strace when i run it manually, not sure what dependency i am missing.


I am running nixos, with i3 window manager, and no desktop environment.

It's desktop software, so wouldn't you need a desktop environment?
