Dual Extruder - Heat Up

Hej!

If I generate gcode this will appear at the start:

Code: Select all

M140 S50
M190 S50
M104 S230 T1
M109 S230 T1
M104 S215 T0
M109 S215 T0
So this gcode will heat up one element after another.
But it makes much more sense to just fire up each heating element and after that wait for each of them, like this:

Code: Select all

M140 S50
M104 S230 T1
M104 S215 T0
M190 S50
M109 S230 T1
M109 S215 T0
It saves a lot of time if testing or printing several small prints.

Greetings,

This gcode is specified in the start gcode tab in your FFF profile....and can be amended to whatever you want.

I do believe that the supplied gcode heats one element at a time as a precaution against pulling too much power for too long from the printer power supply. If you're happy that your printer will be okay, then go ahead and change the start gcode.

Ahhh! Okay that makes sense. I didn't understand that yet.
Thank you! ;)
