Live Update of Processes

I understand that the user has control over some aspects of the current print using the Machine Control Panel: override movement/extrusion, adjust extruder/bed temp.

Is there, or are there plans to add a feature where the user could adjust other process options? For example, I would love to be able to live-adjust Retraction distance, extra restart, speed and coasting. Pseudo-live, as in adjusting for the next layer would be just as good.

I envision an interactive tuning wizard that allows a user to dynamically create different calibration shapes: rectangular or circular perimeter, infill or none, squiggles, etc. From there the user would start printing and then step through different issues they're seeing. Zits? Tune. Smaller or bigger? Tune. Perfect.

Right now I'm doing tuning via scaled down and duplicated shapes. Each shape has a slightly different test process. This works OK, but I'd much rather tune it live so I can do multiple tests in close proximity.

From there, it would be nice if S3D generated a report of tuned parameters per layer. That way, you could print out the report and compare it to the shape. Alternatively, the 1st layer of the shape could have an ID embedded and the report would contain the same ID.
