Dual-Extruder Issues - Print off the edge

I have a Taz-6 with a dual-extruder. I like and use the flexibility to use the front extruder, back extruder or both.

The problem I have is the viewport/bed is based on the back extruder only (Toolhead 0). So in this setup here: http://imgur.com/urQu07X If I select the front extruder, the parts print 50mm closer to the front side of the bed. If I move the parts any closer, they will print OFF the front of the bed itself. Basically, the front extruder will print a gooey mess as it moves on and off the bed.

If there's an in-program option to fix this, let me know. Here are some suggestions:

1) The printer should never be allowed to extrude/print off of the bed. Full-stop. If both extruders are in use, and the extruders are 50MM offset, make the front 50MM of the bed unusable for printing to make sure I don't make a mess.
2) If the part is printed by the front extruder (Toolhead 1), show it to me accurately on the screen.

Re: Dual-Extruder Issues - Print off the edge

It sounds like your printer's toolhead offsets are not set correctly. Once you fix that, then everything in S3D will work correctly.

You can set the toolhead offsets using M218 and then M500 to save, or just edit Configuration.h and reupload firmware.
