How to get rid of the Bed graphic?

How do I get rid of the bed graphics that depict the machine selected. I deleted the stl file in prefs but the thing comes right back. This SHOULD be a checkbox preference in prefs. The graphics get in the way and provide very little value to me.

Agreed. It just started working for me, but it adds nothing.

Re: How to get rid of the Bed graphic?

Go to File > Export FFF Profile, save the profile to your hard drive, and open it in a text editor. Just edit the following 2 lines to look like this

<overridePrinterModels>1</overridePrinterModels>
<printerModelsOverride></printerModelsOverride>

That will make sure that the printer model is always disabled. Once you're done, save the file and go to FIle > Import FFF to load it back in

I was able to do it for the replicator 2. I assume I'll have to do it to every profile with the worthless graphic?
This should have had a user setting in prefs!

Re: How to get rid of the Bed graphic?

this is interesting - i was searching on the forums on how to turn on / off the bed graphic and I ran into this topic.

I had the previous version of S3D installed on my desktop, and when I did the software upgrade, it didnt show the bed graphic (rep2).
But, I installed the newest version of S3D onto my laptop, fresh installation (no previous S3Ds installed), and it showed the bed graphic.

Anyway - definitely would be help if it was a simple checkbox in the user interface :D
