Don't Cross Perimeters does a good job of reducing stringing, but it can cause really rough surfaces with my Bowden. The travel moves run along outer perimeters, so the ooze gets wiped where it is visible.
If I turn off Don't Cross Perimeters, all of that roughness goes away. It would be much better if the travel moves ran over infill or an interior perimeter when available, rather than an outer perimeter.
