[ALREADY ADDED] Live Print Speed Change

I believe this could be possible, right?

Live print speed adjustments. For example, a person has been using a common setting profile, and they realize halfway up the part that it may have more vibration or ringing occurring than expected (what I just did). Instead of losing the rest of the print to poorer quality, or reprinting an entire print, an ability to forward a speed modifier across the live g-code stream could save someones day. To the contrary, if someone realized that they simply set a large print way too slow and they realized the print would be fine a bit faster, that could also save someones day--literally. :D

Re: Live Print Speed Change

You can do this from the machine control panel if you have a machine with decent firmware. There's a feed rate override knob and it will slow everything down uniformly by sending a command to the firmware while streaming gcode.

Re: Live Print Speed Change

Oh, sheesh, well call me stupid.

Yeah, I use an M2. I honestly have become so accustomed to one process, that I didn't realize those knobs on the control panel can function while printing, half the time I no longer notice the knobs themselves. That's useful info! Thanks
