Z axis offset/bed level help

Hey Everyone!

I recently purchased this software purely for the support structure, I use a robo r1 plus and have had a lot of trouble getting a print.

I looked through the forum and found some tips to head over to the G-Code section and edit my global Z-axis settings, however, even then the filament seems to either hover or not stick to the bed.

Anyone have their Robo r1 plus printer profile or screenshots of what I should edit and where?

I still have a week to return this software, and I'd rather keep it but only if it can print what I need to.

Kind regards,

Re: Z axis offset/bed level help

First of all, it's incredibly common that anytime you change software programs, you are going to need to adjust the Z-position slightly. That's just how it works, so don't be alarmed by that.

If the filament is "hovering", then I'm guessing you are still starting too far away from the bed. They actually have an entire section on their website dedicated to this exact problem which explains what to do: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... to-the-bed
