Wifi Connection Issues with DaVinci Pro

Hi all - new Simplyfy3D user here. I just purchased the software to use with my XYZ DaVinci Pro since that printer is now supported. Based on my office/workshop set up, I have to use Wifi Printing. I was able to get the wifi initially set up by enabling network connections in the "Options" tab. However, after a few days I seem to have lost connection. Whenever I try to print it gives me an error that says the printer is not connected or turned on. I also can't seem to connect via the Machine Control window either. I've verified that both my PC and my 3D printer are connected to the internet and on the same network. I don't see any obvious blocks happening with my firewall software either. I've allowed Simplyf3d to have full access through my firewall. Any suggestions on what I can do to re-establish the wifi connectivity. If I can't get this to work then the software isn't all that useful for me. Thanks!

Re: Wifi Connection Issues with DaVinci Pro

There has been lots of issues in the past with the XYZ firmwares and wifi connectivity. Perhaps they pushed out a new firmware update that caused the problem? You might also want to try resetting the printer so that you have to redo the wifi setup process. That may help it get back on the network.

Re: Wifi Connection Issues with DaVinci Pro

So after some helpful advice... a simply reboot of the DaVinci printer and my PC seemed to have solved this pesky issue. After the reboot the printer connected back to the network and the S3D software recognized it right away!
