is there a possibilty to update the 3d representation of the nozzle in Simplify3d with a custom exdruder housing and also include the linear guides in the correct height? See picture:
I print almost all my multibody parts sequentially and with this preview there would be a much better quick visual collision check possible.
In future (=> feature request) this collision check should be better done automatically by Simplify3d and possibly even shift the parts automatically on the build plate to avoid collisions.
Of course this also depends on the different mechanical machine setups, but first just changing the 3d display of the nozzle to include the extruder housing and linear guides is a good and easy first step in this direction.
