Can anyone could figure out a way of add coding so that I can add a sensor to the line of filament and when the last bit of filament comes off the spool and leaves the sensor it would trigger the machine to make sure it is printing infill in the middle of the part, and if it is, then stop and move to a place so I can change out to a new spool and prime it. Then make it continue from where it was in the print.
This would be very nice for large prints or even smaller ones so that you could use up almost all of your material and quite wasting material on rolls.

It would be a pretty easy thing to add to the firmware. Only a few lines of code to check a sensor and then run the pause routine if there is no more filament detected.
