Had a print come out bad checked and S3D is adding the blobs

Was trying to print this,

But the S3D is showing this in the print preview

It prints fine until it gets towards the top and the print follows the slice and goes bad.

Will add final pic when phone charges back up.

I was going to slow the print down when I saw the preview showing the mess on top.

Scaled the item up it lessened but was still there.
If it is a setting not sure which one is causing it.

The rest of those vanes print fine and show fine in the preview.

Well those are pretty tiny, so you're probably just seeing the larger retraction indicators. So if you don't want retractions there, then you need to adjust your settings. And even after you've done that, you may have trouble since those tips look like they may even be smaller than your nozzle diameter

This was the problem I had. I made the mistake of trying to print something so small that it just couldn't be done and came out all blobby.

yes in the preview uncheck the retraction box. those are just markers to indicate those. also, unless you print 1/2 dozen of those at once its going to come out looking terrible due to too much heat buildup. you need to allow cooling time. printing multiple items at once will increase layer time

You probably want smaller nozzles.

Get to know your printer before you go with a smaller nozzle. Smaller nozzles will clog a lot if you don't pay attention, and they are not recommended by Qidi. I have used them a bit (I have a Qidi Tech I at home) with little problem, but I only use PLA on these nozzles and dedicate each one to a specific color. Print times will also go way down.

Got it to work after making many changes to the settings.

Also if the center is hollow there are a lot more issues.
