My one minor issue seems to be with getting the machine control panel to show extruder temps and allow control of my repetier firmware controled printer.

I have a Rostock Max and can use the control panel just fine. I did have a problem at first, my mac didn't like the default 250000 baud rate. I changed that via firmware to 115200 and all was good.

Repetier 0.83 from SeeMeCNC

On Windows the default 250000 is the way to go but with the mac it seems the higher value doesn't always work. Fortunately I could connect with Repetier-Host Mac at 250000 so then I could change the eeprom setting to the slower rate so that Creator would work. I hope you can get it worked out, I much prefer the Creator machine control compared to rep-host mac.

I just upgraded to the version 0.91 and all is good and the Creator machine control panel, temps and actual printing all function great now!

I really want to use this feature, but cant see how to do it, nor find any documentation:
Great new option for printing 2 or 3 very fine outline layers while still printing just one thick infill layer. This lets you have a high quality surface finish while still achieving great printing times.

Infill tab, set the "Print sparse infill every ___ layers" to a value of 2 or 3. For example, if you set the value to 3 and you were using a 0.1mm layer height, then the infill would be printed once every 3 layers and would be 0.3mm thick.
