sailfish & GPX underextrusion

Hello,

I have a machine running makerbot electronics (it was originally a Thing-o-matic but is now a Type-A Series 1).
The prints that I was doing with Simplify3d were very under extruded. I had to turn up the multiplier to 1.6 to get it to be anywhere close to right.
The problem seems to be occurring in GPX. When I convert the file to put it on the SD in replicatorg instead of using the file x3g file produced by gpx, it prints fine.
The steps/mm for the stepper is set correctly in the gpx tab of the firmware settings.
The prints look good when convert it in repg but I'd like to know what is going on.
Anyone else seeing this?

Re: sailfish & GPX underextrusion

Jeremy,

If you have a custom machine with different step/mm for the extruder, you will need to create a custom gpx.ini file. The steps/mm values in the firmware config are only used for the Machine Control Panel jogging I believe. You will need to create your own gpx.ini file if you want the x3g files to reflect this change as well. Search the forum. I think this has been discussed many times
