Slicing and/or STL error?

Hello!

I'm trying to create a BatCase for iPhone 5C... The attached stl file looks great in Simplify3D but once sliced there are gaps in the model that I do not want.

Perhaps (probably) there is an error in the STL file but I cannot solve that; I do not have the skill necessary :-(

Could anyone please fix this STL file?
Or fix Simplify3D so that it correctly slices what appears to at least look correct in the viewer...

Re: Slicing and/or STL error?

If you need help finding out what's wrong with your STL file or how to fix it, I would start here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3177
https://www.simplify3d.com/support/arti ... sh-errors/

Obviously, you aren't going to be able to get people to fix it for you every time there's a problem, so it's a good thing to learn ;)

You can just run it through using one of the repair services. I would recommend you try https://makeprintable.com/ for a quick fix.

Thank you!

There were not many public services that were able to spit something out... Just infinite please-wait-progress and in the rare cases something did pop out it was all meshy
