So, I'm working with a file here. Near as I can tell, I should be getting something worthwhile out of one of these two setups, but I don't.
The first is using the Dual Extrusion Wizard. When I do that, I get a preview that looks like this:
So, it's all the same toolhead, and it doesn't seem like I'll be getting dual extrusion from that. The code for that one can be found here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B6wOq ... 0UxX29xRTA
I've also done one manually, and it seems like it should work from the preview:
However, when I try to print this one (and I didn't save the factory file, just the gcode, so I can't show it without the shell) my bed preheats, my second head gets to maybe 100 degrees (the first not heating at all) and it starts trying to print when none of the heads are actually warm enough to accomplish anything.

Honestly, I can see how I might have messed up on the second one - I'm brand new to S3D and trying to work through my own ignorance here, but I don't see how I can be getting it wrong with the wizard.
If anyone has any brilliant suggestions I'd love to hear them because I'm just not getting it.
