Can't figure out why my 2-color Octopus is OK in the middle, but a mess on the extremities.
Thoughts?
Printing PLA on a Lulzbot Taz (obviously dual head)

Not that I have a solution, but I would argue your greenish material looks good in the middle. White looks bad everywhere. If you look at your white squares your layer adhesion looks pretty bad. The only reason I think it looks a little better is because the green parts outside of it are kinda holding it together..
The etremeties are also prety hard to see when there is Oozeshield all over them. You may want to use the "vertical" option for the oozeshield or change the angle of the sidewall.
But definitely look into your extrusion issues with the white filament...
It looks to me like it's an ooze shield issue more than anything else. Have the angle set too steep for it to build? Only using one extruder on the shield? It looks mostly white.
As usual with the taz, it's an oozy mess. It also looks like your white stopped extruding mid print (I'm going to guess chewed up filament? common on that extruder). It also looks underextruded by a fair bit where it was still printing.
I'd recommend you make sure that you can get good (well, as good as you can expect from a taz...) complex single extruder prints from each hotend before you start trying to get into dual extrusion.
