QIDI X-ONE "stalls" during prints.

Hi all,
I have a QIDI X-ONE printer and it is stalling, hanging, stopping (pick your term!) for 5-20 seconds during prints using S3D. It does not exhibit this behavior using the supplied software (a cura version).
I am printing via USB. Have tried two different computers and the same results. My other printers on these PC's do not have this issue.
Tried different STL files.
I am working with S3D support on this but I thought I would throw it out here to see what you guys think.

Are you sure it isn't just doing a long retraction or something? It might look like it's standing still, but the extruder is still moving

Re: QIDI X-ONE "stalls" during prints.

I wondered about that and haven't yet had time to investigate but a 30 second retraction seems excessive!!
It seems to always eventually continue and also if I hit force it goes on again.

It doesn't always stop in the same place either.

Another thing is this. If I use the S3D supplied profile (testing one) it stalls. If I create a 'generic" profile from add printer - Other and use the same basic settings it doesn't stall. This is a side issue as we are trying to get a profile going for this new printer first.
