Ultimaker Settings

Thought I would post my Ultimaker settings for people to try. I need to do a lot more testing, but was very happy with a difficult print that I achieved by using these settings and manual supports. This set up has the 'Retraction' turned off. I was printing a worm gear and could not have any surface blemeshes that retraction can sometimes cause. The worm gear had no islands to print so there was no worry about stringing. For most prints, you will probobly want retraction enabled and use the coast option as well to help get rid of strings. This should be a good base to get Ultimaker users going with some of the more critical settings. As usual, fine tuning will be needed if you have a difficult print.

QUICK SPECS:
Layer height .2, temp 215, support disabled, infill 50%, retraction disabled, Makerbot True Blue 3mm PLA.

Re: Ultimaker Settings

Forgot to mention that you just need to download the attatched file and then IMPORT it into your FFF settings screen.
