PowerSpec Ultra - Under Extrusion from layer 2 of print?

Hello,
I was printing some large prints with a very high level of success for about a week after upgrading to an all metal hotend. I did a few small prints and opted to use the "Vase" print setting because I was just printing some small rings. It gave me a message that it would override some settings and I clicked ok.

Now that I'm back to trying to print large items I've removed the "Vase print" setting and everything appears to be setup as it was prior to this change. however regardless of what my infill % is 35-100% after the first layer the print seems to get stringy and not really bond to the previous layer.

Heat seems to be fine I don't see temps dropping on the extruder more than a few degrees.

Printing Inland PLA with MicroSwiss all metal hotend and .6mm nozzle
100% infill from 0-2mm
50% infill from 2mm to finish
extrusion multiplier set to 1.10
extrusion width set to .7
extruder temp set to 225 c
bed set to 60 c
print speed 5000mm per min

It was working fine prior to that little vase printing experiment I tried and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the application and I've created a new STL file just in case something was cached/corrupted.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Have you ever adjusted the first layer position before? Personally, I end up doing that every 10 or so prints. It's really hard to take a part of the bed without occasionally causing the bed to move slightly. So it sounds like it's just normal first layer adjustments. I doubt it has anything to do with the last few prints you did.

Just check your first layer settings. S3D has an article about all the first layer adjustments if you need more help

Re: PowerSpec Ultra - Under Extrusion from layer 2 of print?

Thank you for the suggestion, I frequently level but I'm sure there are more steps in that article so I'll give it a read to make sure I add anything I'm missing to my routine.

Last night I heated the extruded to 260c and ran about 500mm of cleaning filament through the extruder and ended up with the same results.

So I've swapped for a new nozzle unfortunately all I have is .4 on hand and I really pre fee the added speed of the .6 but this will at least tell me if there is some sort of partial clog that wasn't cleaned out with the cleaning filament.
