Hi all,
I have had this issue for a while, but its never been a big deal until now that I started selling prints. I am looking to achieve the cleanest possible prints and I think I am almost there.
The problem that I am having is that my prints are slightly bumpy on the first couple of layers when I try to print something with a bevel, rounded edge or slight edge overhang. From the bevel up the print is near perfect. I have also noticed that even though the bottom and top bevels are the same size the bottom one tends to be a bit distorted and not quite the same as the top.
I have attached an illustration of what I am running into.
I am using a Makerfarm Prusa i3v 10" with a heated bed. I am running Hatchbox PLA, with the hotend at 195 and the bed at 60. Running at 80mm/sec with 50% speed on outlines. I currently do not have a fan cooling the print and I am hoping thats not the issue, lol.
Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated,
Chambrot
