Issue with 3.11 with 3dp1000

Since updating my printer will randomly print at very low speeds around 1mm/sec for a few min then resume regular speed. It will also randomly retract at full speed for about 30 sec. I have also seen strange slicing issues that I have gotten video of which was only if I positioned my part certain ways

Your slicing issue has nothing to do with v3.1.1. Your model has mesh errors that S3D is unable to make sense of. You'll get exactly the same results with v3.1.0.

You'll need to repair the mesh using either a 3D tool you have or one of the online repair services. Alternatively, adjusting the layer thickness by 0.001mm steps or rotating the model on the bed may allow S3D to slice correctly as it will work around the exact spot (or spots) where the errors are.

Your other issue may be related to the mesh issue......but without further information, etc, it's hard to say.

Re: Issue with 3.11 with 3dp1000

thanks for the response
I did get it to slice correctly rotating the part, I also noticed that if I moved the model too close to the edge it would cut the corner off which I assume is a printer issue since it looks to have sliced correctly.
the filament randomly backing out I have recreated after going back to 3.10 but the issue where it would print really slow for a few min seems to be gone now.
The strange thing is I haven't changed anything and I have a bunch of strange issues withing the last day since upgrading.
Since you pointed out that there is something wrong with the mesh I'll try using a repair tool and see if that corrects my retraction issue or at least try another model.

Yup, definitely looks like a bad mesh to me. If you want more help, attach your factory file to the thread so others can test it out (File > Save Factory File)
