Loading a profile for a second printer.

I see the latest update now has the Formbot T-rex supported. That's great because I've been struggling to get proper start/stop codes properly configured on this, my second printer.

Problem is I don't know where to find the profile.

Thanks,
John

Pretty sure that is identical to the gCreate 1.5 XT. It's just an identical clone with a different brand name.

Do you see that profile in the list?

Also, you can email their support team if you want to double-check what profile to use

Click Help, then Configuration Assistant, and it will bring up the list like it does when you first install.

Re: Loading a profile for a second printer.

I am in the same boat... The supported 'list' has the Formbot T-rex 2+ listed, but when I go into the wizard it doesn't let me select that from the list of printers as it isn't there...

And what you suggested will not work as it is a independent dual extruder system (Like the BCN3D Sigma), so it needs special tool change commands to park one head, and then prime, wipe, and start to print with the new head, and then do the same when going back, etc.

Please PLEASE do not list a printer as 'compatible' just because it can uses the same gcode, or xt3g files etc. When I see something on that list I expect it to be something I can pick from a drop down, and then click click click go.

I would also love this in the dual extrusion wizard!!!

Make sure S3D is up to date by clicking the update under the help menu. If that doesn't help then contact them and let them know what you see and to see if they have a profile they can send you.
