Support does not stick to the model. What now?

Hello there Simplify3D fans,

I have trouble printing my GoPro mount because the support does not stick to my model (see picture).
The support has way too long parts/bridges between model walls and does not start at the print bed and therefore hangs in the air.

I try to print in PETG on 70°C print bed and with 210°C on a Prusa i3 MK1. Everything prints very nice apart from the support that doesn't stick to the rest of the print.

How do I solve this?
Can I configure the support to start on the print bed to support the support? ;)
Can I configure the support to somehow shorten parts that are not attached to a wall?

Kind regards
Keanu

Check to make sure your support pillar resolution is 1-2mm. If it's too big and you're printing a small model, it can cause problems.
