Switch Outline Direction?

Is there a way with most printers to change the direction that outline layers are laid down? By default they always go counter-clockwise, but it would be good in some cases to have it go the opposite direction to avoid problem area. Even cooler would be an option to alternate each layer.

Maybe this is just impossible due to 3d printing gcode standards? Dunno.

Look at the Process Settings under Layer. You can change the direction of the ouline and a few other things like Start Points that might get you what you want.

Re: Switch Outline Direction?

I think he means printing a single outline in a different direction (CCW vs CW) not printing a series of outlines differently (inside-to-outside vs outside-to-inside). I don't think you can change the default CCW or CW printing direction...

I would love to see this feature implemented!
