Missing part after slicing

Hi all,
For some reson after slicing I get missing parts in 3 d model. See pictures below:

Any explanation for this?

You are already tell just by looking at the model display in S3D that there are a lot of problems. Looks like lots of self-intersecting surfaces and backwards faces. So you can pretty much guarantee that this is not a valid solid model.

So I would say either fix the model in the original CAD package first or maybe try to use one of the free repair services (netfabb, makeprintable, etc).

Looks like some triangles are flipped. Go to Repair menu, click on Flip surface orientation and select the face on the model that looks inverted. This should fix it. As a test, Click on View normals on the toolbar. All the Normals should be facing outwards.
