Back again. CTC support in Simplify3D

So, way back when I first started using Simplify3D, I noticed that the dimensions were off by a lot on my CTC printer. After quite a bit of research, I determined that Simplify3D ignored the steps/mm settings in the firmware configuration dialog. I instead had to concoct a way to load gpx.ini for it to work. Here was the thread: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1623&p=6210#p6210

Well everything worked great after that through several updates of Simplify3D. But I am now using the latest and something has changed. I have tried all the steps I originally did in the post above (not that there is no x3g checkbox in SCRIPTS anymore) and still having trouble.

After all of the above steps, the bed seems to lower and then not zero out once it starts printing. This results in it printing in air. I removed all of the Z movement commands in the start script leaving only the HOME command. That got it a bit closer, but still printing in air.

Leaving the script as-is and undoing my custom gpx.ini command doesn't have this problem at all. Except the dimensions are off...

Scratching my head. Any suggestions?

Why do you need custom steps/mm values on your CTC printer? Did you swap out some hardware or something? If you are using the stock hardware, then you shouldn't need to do that
