One different configuration for each material

Hi all,

I come here to ask if it would be possible to have different configurations according to the selected materials.
In my case, i created a profile, and added different materials which allow me to have different temperatures. Ok, that's good, but I need to go further.

- My 1st material is quite easy to print, the filament product is called for example AAA black (to print with black filament), I print with a temperature of 210°C, and I keep the default configration because this is the best for this material.
- My 2nd material is from the same company, but in another color, and I need another temperature to have a perfect print, material is called AAA pink. OK, that's good, if I change the temperature in this 2nd material, it keeps it in memory and it changes if I go on AAA black or AAA pink.
- My 3rd material is a PLA from another company, which I called BBB black. I got some help from them because everybody had issues with it. They told me to have a better print, to change the configuration in different tabs : in Other, set 60% on Outline Underspeed, Solid Infill Underspeed and Support Structure Underspeed. Also in Cooling, Adjust printing speed for layers below 2sec and allow speed reduction down to 80%. If I set it for this material, OK, my print are better for sure.

My issue is that when I change the different tabs for one material, it changes it for all materials ! Tabs are not kept in memory :(

Create different profiles is according to me, less practical.

What do you think about it?

Re: One different configuration for each material

If you want to add the outline or solid fill speeds to your material settings, then just go to File > Export FFF Profile, choose the profile you want to change, then open that file in a text editor. Add the outline and solid fill speed settings to each <autoConfigureMaterial> section, then save and re-import the FFF profile. Then that setting will be changed anytime you select a new material.
