Version 2.1.0 Custom Profile looses Quality Setting

Hi All...

All my custom profiles that worked AOK with version 2.0.1 all have lost the Quality and Material settings.

Even if I create a custom profile from one of the included FlashForge ones, the same thing happens. They just drop the Quality and Material settings.

This has occurred on both Mac systems.

Any ideas..??

Thanks..!!!

Re: Version 2.1.0 Custom Profile looses Quality Setting

Me, too, although I think the idea is that quality and material are intended as presets, and once you bake in your settings by exporting it to your own FFF, they no longer make sense to be displayed.

What would be nice is if you could actually define an FFF with several sets of settings for each quality and material, so you wouldn't have to export out a full matrix of "ABS 20mm.fff", "ABS 15mm.fff", etc. files.

Re: Version 2.1.0 Custom Profile looses Quality Setting

Hi There...

I have managed to make a set of my profiles, however I did it outside of S3D.

1: Export out a stock profile under the name you want.
2: Edit the profile file with an XML editor. I used Adobe Dreamweaver.
3: Import the profile into S3D.

Done.

Re: Version 2.1.0 Custom Profile looses Quality Setting

Hi There...

I fixed the Auto Quality buttons being missing.

It looks like the Auto Config for material and quality is set in the profiles now. (Hope I'm right here..!!) After comparing my old profiles, to the new ones, I saw the difference straight away. And copying the Auto Config part of the new profiles into my old ones, all is OK. I can even customise them now.

I just need to test them now..!!

Cheers..!!!
