Two printers, one computer

I Have two printers, one is a Folger Tech FT-5 and the other is a SeeMe Rostock Max V2. I've been changing windows profiles to do my slicing. Is there a way to easily change between them without having to Switch user under windows? Maybe this is a request for New feature. Tabbed profiles at the top of the page maybe? With different colors so is to not get mixed up between them?? Just a thought.

Re: Two printers, one computer

You are making it harder than it is. The 'printer type' is part of the profile. When you go to Help->Configuration Assistant and select a new printer type that profile is made currently active AND it is added to your list of available profiles when you go to Edit->Process settings. SO if you have Print A and Printer B do this to add BOTH of them to your available processes.

Do a File->New and then import your STL. Click on the 'Add' button (under processes) to add a process, when the FFF Settings dialog window pops up you select the profile to use, either Machine A or B.

That is all there is to it.

Re: Two printers, one computer

I have three in one spot that one PC can connect to. I open a new occurrence of S3D for each one I am working with so I can have the different models and settings going. I usually save to SD card but the method works well.
