V2.1 Extrusion Multiplier

Hi
I have the program only a few days in use.
I have found with me if I do. 1 Layer with the extrusion multiplier 130 prints, which keeps print better on the plate
From 2 layer then go Multiplier to 100% extrusion.
I'll do that but always manuel. Can I adjust the extrusion multiplier for the Layer 1 extra (for 130%) and 2 layers (eg, 100%).
Thanks in advance for your help.

There is a tutorial on this topic. With S3D, you can change settings for any layer you want! It's one of the really cool features. http://www.simplify3d.com/support/tutor ... f-a-model/

Re: V2.1 Extrusion Multiplier

the easiest thing to do instead of extruding more material is to just print tighter to the bed. your gap is probably a little big requiring more material to get 100% contact of your plastic to the bed. your z axis end stop needs to be adjusted a little tighter OR you can set the first layer height percentage to say 80% and the final option would be to set your z offset in your process so the first layer is closer.

Re: V2.1 Extrusion Multiplier

I set my first layer height to 65% and just watch closely as it lays down the first bit of plastic. Parts stick like crazy with this method if you level your plate correctly in the first place.

Re: V2.1 Extrusion Multiplier

I also found slowing down the first layer to 25% makes for a good print too.
