Re: help with abs please

Really need more info. Slicer, temps, speeds etc, factory file would be helpful.

What is the model?

Re: help with abs please

Go ahead and throw up the Factory File on dropbox, google drive, etc. Drop us the link to the file and we can take a look.

And yes, please post pics on Imgur, etc. That will help out tons!

I have a FFCP, and ABS comes out great on the factory settings albeit I have the nozzle temp at 220c.

Are you using the stock ABS that came with the printer?

Re: help with abs please

usually happens
- bed too hot
- env too hot

drop the temp of the bed after first layer (1st layer 90-110C what lowest that gets you good adhesion, second+ layer 60C) and if not enough add few % (lowest your fan will spin, 10% for e.g.) cooling even with ABS

Re: help with abs please

The problem is with playing with the bed temp too much is it is the principle heater for the build chamber. Most run the build plate too hot, 95c is about right for ABS. Any lower and it won't keep the build chamber hot enough.

That looks like a classic "bed too hot" issue. Drop the bed temp after the first layer.
