(Newb) Flash Forge Creator Pro 2016 updated profile request.

I have done some reading and seen that the Flash Forge Creator Pro has a updated profile that properly extrudes off of the bed / into a line and not into a huge giant blob. I just purchased today and noticed this right away on my first print with simplify3d. I have many other issues to conquer (Z-Seam which FlashPrint didn't make noticeable) and would like to get this one out of the way since it is a profile overwrite before I tackle other issues. If anyone has this can they link it so I can use it? Support won't be on for a few more hours to send it.

Not aware of an update from S3D but that doesn't mean they don't have something. The only thing to do for that is run the update check from help.

Changing how the printer does the prime will involve modifying the start script.

....... into a huge giant blob
Am I reading into this that the extrusion is not adhering to your bed and the extruded plastic then accumulated on the print head??

If so, this is probably nothing to do with an updated profile, etc that may be available. Its simply that the nozzle is too far away from the bed when the print starts and its not adhering. If so, this can be addressed by rechecking the bed levelling...either auto or manual. If that has no effect, try adjusting the Global Z offset on the GCode page of the settings......by a negative amount....initially by say 0.05mm and see what the difference is. Adjust until the print adheres, doesn't lift at corners and the bottom of the print is nice and smooth.

If it is like mine then I think he is referring to that it primes off the right side front corner rather than a line across the front. When you use the left extruder it doesn't quite get off the bed and makes a blob that can get dragged out to the print area.

I have been meaning to change the start script on mine to see if I can get the left nozzle to prime on the left side. It works ok on the right when you use the right nozzle. It extrudes a bunch off the edge bed then does a wipe on the edge of the bed and cleans up nicely.

SourPickel did you get the purge blob issue resolved? I'm running across the same issue, but since I don't know G-Code I have not been able to fix it.
Not to mention that the blob of purge gets tuck to my nozzle and it drags it across the build plate ruining every print I have tried so far.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a creator pro
I can help you .
The blob at the beginning is not a problem of your bed is sticky. It makes a blob and its all.
To correct the problem go the starting script tab .
The movement of the nozzle is wrong because the author have made the same movement for the two hotend but have forgotten the offset between the 2 nozzle. And if the carriage go too deep on the left the endstop switch will lock the X position and the carriage is stopped
To correct this , change the "x" value of all the movement in the script to place all the X axis movements in the good area.

But i repeat if yourbed is sticky this blob is not a problem
