I am somewhat upset right now so I'll keep this brief:
-I was unable to pause print using the 'Pause' button in the 'machine control panel' window in order to put more filament in.
-Printing using the 'Begin Printing Over USB' button.
-Connected and everything was showing up properly on 'Machine Control Panel' window.
-Emergency stop worked and jog controls worked.... i just dont know wtf happened.

What printer are you using? It's possible that pause is a different command on that printer or is not supported by the firmware of the printer.
