Dual Extrusion wizard with 3 extruders

Back with 3.1.1 in the release notes S3D boasted that they made the Dual Ex Wizard work with 3 extruders. Anyone know how they changed it to work with 3 extruders??? It looks the same to me.

Re: Dual Extrusion wizard with 3 extruders

I have a 3-extruder printer and I wasn't able to use it at all with the dual extrusion wizard in 3.1.0. So it definitely changed for me! Now I can do dual extrusion by using the wizard, selecting my printer as the "Base Profile", and then picking the extruders I want to use for the parts from the drop downs.

It works if you only use 2 of the 3 extruders. How do you use the wizard to use all 3 extruders? It would be great if they added a 3rd selection window.

Well that wouldn't be "dual" extrusion anymore ;)

True. Maybe they could call it "Multi Extrusion Wizard"??? Still don't have an answer for how they made it easier to use 3 extruders.

Re: Dual Extrusion wizard with 3 extruders

Read my post above. The Dual Extrusion Wizard in 3.1.0 did not work with 3-extruder printers AT ALL. They wouldn't show up as an option at all.

In 3.1.1+ you can choose a 3-extruder printer, and then you just pick which 2 extruders you want to use for the dual extrusion print. So considering you couldn't use it at all in 3.1.0, that's definitely an improvement!
