It's kind of silly that we dont have this. With rectilinear, the amount of layer-to-layer adhesion is reduced since the layers only touch at overlap. For honeycomb, the adhesion is much higher resulting in stronger builds.

we need different types of infills and more controls.

Currently the infills are weak especially when used with multiple infill angles say 90,-90, 45, -45. S3d currently lays each line per layer. The default use random infill placement makes things even weaker.

I can hear the infill break when applying pressure to surfaces.

The add solid diaphragm is an odd solution to strengthen parts.

Excaly what I observed. The Honeycomb of Makerware etc. seems to be much more stronger.
