I do not understand the selection boxes next to the models. They all get parsed to g-code. Disabling should disable the model. This way one could hold commonly used calibration etc. models there. And/Or when printing a bigger assembly hold all the parts there to easily get back to one if it needs reprinting.
The checkboxes are just used to visually hide a model. If you want to stop a process from printing one of the parts, double-click on that process and then use the "Select Models" button in the lower left
The feature-request should be to change the current checkboxes into "eyes" like in photoshop layers (show or hide), and add a new checkbox to suppress the models.
