Solid infill threshold

I've been having issues with poor vertical strength on screwholes near the edge. I was watching and even though I'm at 40% infill, it's not printing infill as it build the vertical outside edge between the screwhole and the outer edge.

In Slicer, there's a setting called "Solid Infill threshold area" you can set low enough to make small areas like this forced to have infill for strength or when the infill density is too low to put anything in it. I can't find any setting like this on S3D and it doesn't seem to me something as simple as this would just be left out. Where is this setting?

Re: Solid infill threshold

Minimum Infill Length: This is default set to 5 mm, if there are small sections in the G-Code previewer that aren't filling in, you may want to set this to a lower value.

Re: Solid infill threshold

Sorry to revive this old topic but it shows up as the top result in Google when searching for "Simplify3D solid infill threshold". What Zemlin mentioned is not what is available in Slic3r. Solid infill threshold in slic3r means that below a certain area a solid infill is used instead of a regular one. This is useful for small parts sticking out where the regular infill might be too large or might be positioned unfortunately enough for the hole to be in the middle of the infill pattern.
