I just got one of these printers on sale and downloaded the S3D profile from the manufacturer and loaded it into S3D. So it works and I can print but a couple of issues:
1. The heated bed settings I specify don't take and the bed doesn't heat up at all. Not really a problem with PLA but I'd like this to work.
2. I can't print from the left extruder. No matter that I select that extruder in S3D and even if I delete the right one, the printer always just prints with the right extruder. Kind of defeats the purpose of having different colors ready to go for individual models or to make a 2-color model.
Any help appreciated....

Sounds like the manufacturer profile isn't setup correctly. You should try going to Help > Configuration Assistant, and then choose "Other" at the bottom of the list. Then enter the machine specs. That should get you pretty close. Then you can copy over some of the retraction, speed, and script settings from the manufacturer profile.

I have one of these also but haven't had time to try it yet.
I think it should be the same as a Replicator 1 dual, QIDI Tech-1 or Flashforge Creator Pro as far as profiles go. You might give those a try and see if it is any better.
