Print has started but no action taken

New to Simplify3D software but have been printing for a year or so.

Gcode outputs fine, produces a 31 meg file. Load the SD card into Monoprice Select Mini and start the print. Bed heats up, extruder heats, up, progress bar on display says it's 3/4 the way through a 10 hour print even though I started the print 10 minutes ago. And no movement of any axis at all. Ideas? Gcode file attached if someone has the time to look at it and see what I've done wrong. Pretty much using the default profile for this print, tweaked the infill a bit to avoid a few holes due to no internal support.

Ran the same model through Cura and it works. So it's definitely an S3D issue or most likely my settings.

Re: Print has started but no action taken

I have the same printer and it works fine with S3D. Try going back to Help > Configuration Assistant, and re-select the Monoprice Select Mini from the list. Then don't make any changes, import a simple part, and try printing again. If that works, then you at least know the stock settings work and you can start making adjustments from there.

Re: Print has started but no action taken

Thanks Brian.

So I followed your instructions, reset the software and printed a 20 mm test cube with no software changes. First cube printed perfectly except no filament on what appears to be the first layer. I printed another using the printers Make Another function. It did the same, no filament on the first layer, so I let it go and the cube completed. This has confused me greatly.

The printer goes through the motions, puts down a purge line on the front edge of the bed, then moves to position and starts printing the brim. No filament though. It's not until the first layer is complete and the Z axis has moved to the next layer that filament is laid down. I can see the extruder shaft rotating and can hear the drive wheel clicking on the stationary filament. This lead me to think the bed was out of whack so I ran through the levelling details supplied by Monoprice and the bed is fine, no adjustment needed.

I ran the test again, same result. First layer no good, 2nd layer (assuming it's the second) is fine and the print completes.

Reading the Monoprice support website and it says I may need to change the Z-axis start position just a portion of a millimetre. Does this sound correct to you? If so, where is it in S3D? IS it in the FFF Settings/G-Code tab/Global G-Code Offsets?
