Is a Craftbot XL Configuration available for Simplify 3d?

I'm interested in getting a Craftbot XL. Looks affordable with 17" Z.

I'm new to Simplify 3D. Is there ability to import new configurations as the printers hit the market? Where might I find the updates?

You can check in Help > Configuration Assistant. That's where their new profiles are added.

They already have some Craftbot profiles in there, so even if the exact XL model is listed, I bet you could select one of the others and just modify the build volume to match the XL

Since I am new to Simplify 3D and I'm a teacher, I want to be sure I can use S3D to slice for this printer before I buy it for our classroom. Could you point me to where I'd modify the build volume?

First time you open Simplify3D, it will ask you what printer you are using. You can select the "CraftUnique CraftBot Plus", then click Finish.

After that, click "Edit Process Settings" in the lower left of the main window. Click "Show Advanced" and then go to the G-Code tab. You can the build volume on that screen, then click OK to save your changes.
