Extrusion width for Solid Layer

I would like a solid layer extrusion width designation option.
The solid layer has slightly small grooves. In order to make a flat surface for painting, it is necessary to fill the groove with putty. If the extrusion width of the solid layer is made wider, the groove is buried, which makes work very easy.
Thank you.

changing width would not solve your problem. you have uncalibrated printer so your printed width is different from width slicer is expecting. increasing width in slicer would make that gap even bigger. you need to change extrusion multiplier so you get width of printed line to match what slicer expects (or you fix your steps/mm for E axis in firmware).

having option to vary extrusion multiplier for different features (walls, infills, inside of perimeters, solid layers etc..) would be interesting to have, not crucial but useful... but your solution is not a new feature but proper calibration :)
gcodestat integrates with Simplify3D and allow you to
Calculate print time accurately (acceleration, max speed, junction deviation all taken into consideration)
Embed M117 codes into G-Code
Upload your G-Code directly to Octoprint

Re: Extrusion width for Solid Layer

I made a program to convert the GCODE file and printed it.
The conversion target is InnerPerimeter and SolidLayer.
Left: Normal extrusion width
Right: 120% extrusion width

After polishing with sandpaper

The white part is a state in which garbage is clogged in a small groove.
Because the extrusion width was made large on the right side, the groove almost disappeared.

As shown in the picture below, many grooves may occur.

Filling these grooves with putty is very troublesome.

If we can increase the extrusion width of InnerPerimeter and SolidLayer, small grooves do not occur.
Processing of surface treatment is very easy, so we can reduce work inability.

※It does not convert InnerPerimeter and SolidLayer of the lowest aspect. This is to make rafts easy to peel off.

Thank you.
