[FIXED] Skipped Layer Using Multiple Processes

Hoping someone with Simplify 3D experience can help. I am running multiple processes and I am seeing a gap in the preview. My processes are broken down like this.
- Process 1 = 0 - 65mm @ 0.300 layer height
- Process 2 = 65mm - 95mm @ 0.210 Layer height
- Process 3 = 95mm to complete @ 0.300 Layer height
I am seeing a single layer gap at 65mm and wondered if this is just graphics as I have not printed this yet as it will run for 10hrs.
The weird thing is I am not seeing any gap between process 2 & 3

Any help appreciated,

Dennis

It is not divisble by 0.3mm. 65mm/0.3mm = 216,6. Try 64.8mm

Re: Skipped Layer Using Multiple Processes

Just wanted to add a quick note to let you know that Version 4.0.1 made many improvements to multiple processes. The software should now automatically ensure there is a smooth transition between processes without any gaps, regardless of the layer heights that you choose. So even if your layer height is not a perfect multiple of the other processes, it will still work correctly.

I setup a print using the exact settings mentioned at the top of this post, and it now slices correctly in Version 4.0.1 without any gaps between layers. Hopefully this will make it easier to setup prints in the future!
