I would also love to have this feature.
An additional question especially to the simplify3d team:
Sometimes I get the impression that you do not read the several requests at all. So...I am pretty sure you do but it would be great to give any sort of feedback to old and potential new customers. Something like: "we are working on it. We assume an implementation for May 2018..." or similar.

This has been requested before a few times....once by me. All of the requests seem to have "fallen on fallow ground" as the saying goes.

just got an email from Cura, they now have variable height and kiss slicer has it too!

is this being worked on? this would be a huge feature to have access to in simplify 3D.

Considering what we have paid for Simplify 3D this should already be available
